I bought this book for my grandson 13yrs. old he read the entire book for a week before picking up his 8 week old puppy, within two weeks he bonded with his dog, house trained, and taught her to sit, stay, fetch, ly down, come, walk on a leash, all the time using the book as a guide and reference. His Lab. will be a very well mannered companion to him. On his own took the responsibility to find a vet, buy a kennel from lawn mowing earnings, the right dog food and toys etc. The book was far more valuable then the price. Pictures Without Substance
This is a nice coffee table picture book. However, when a specific behavior issue comes up about my dog’s behavior the text is lacking.
